This website is dedicated to an individual research project entitled ‘A History of Sonic Experience in the Renaissance’. The project started at the Department of Musicology, University of Pavia (Italy) in 2010, and now continues as an independent research. NEW! Second phase starting
From September 2012 I will develop the second phase of the project,
entitled ‘The Soundscape of Early Modern Catholicism’, at the Boston College, thanks to a fellowship from the Jesuit Institute.
